Curcumin supplements failing to match label claims, report finds
It is perceived that curcumin has a number of health benefits and particularly during the covid pandemic, usage of all food supplements has increased significantly. However, the consumer has to be confident that the quality of the product meets the declaration on the label.

There are many aspects taht have to be considered when labelling a food supplement and it has to comply with Comission Regulation (EC) 2002/46 as well as the Food Ingredients Regulations (EU) 1169/2011 to avoid misleading the consumer. At Food Labelling Services, we can ensure that the labelling is corerct, however it is the responsibility of the Food Business Operator to ensure that hte quality of the product meets the declared information on the label.
